Something Blue...Who say's it can't be edible?

For Sheila's shower, the bridesmaid's contacted us with a theme "Something Old... New... Borrowed and... "You got it- Blue!
So, they asked our opinion on how each table could represent that theme. They first thought a cakein the middle of the table, where each table would borrow their cakes... But that would be too confusing...
So, Mommy cupcake and I came up with these little darlings.
Vanilla cupcakes, with blueberry filling, and three simple blue flowers to represent "Past Present and Future".
The cupcakes were in clear round containers and placed with adorable poems on every guest's dish.

"J&G, everyone loved biting into the "Something Blue" cupcake and finding "Something Blue". They had espesially loved the little poem cards about the history of "Something Blue". Our Brides wedding was complete and she has not stopped talking about the cupcakes! They were an absolute HIT- not to mention...Delicious!
